Yes, “Brummy” is a nod to my Birmingham roots! While some might see the slight misspelling as a typo, I believe it adds a touch of character. Art has always been my passion, from school days to my studies in photography, textiles, and even swimwear design!

The Brummy Artist truly blossomed in December 2023. After a decade in the fashion industry, I found myself turning to art for peace and mindfulness during a challenging time. Playing with photos, drawings, paintings, and collages of flowers from my garden and walks reignited a creative spark. I knew these vibrant blooms had to be the heart of my work, and so, the Brummy Artist was born.
