Maybe I’m doing something obviously wrong but whenever I add a product and set a price when I save the page the product price changes… I have one necklace that should be 18€ but it changes to 21€ and another that should be 37€ and changes to 41€… I can’t get it to save the correct price.

      Hi Kazanian,
Do you have the Tax Status set correctly? This has caught a few vendors out.
When you are setting the price of a product you will need to have ‘Tax status’ set to “None” and ‘Tax class set to “Zero rate”.
If these settings are not correct V.A.T. will automatically be added. This may be the cause of your problem but if this doesn’t work let us know and we’ll figure out what’s going on.

*I’m posting again, as no reply and it’s been over a week.
I’m assuming this is why no one is buying. If tax is being added on after, its making it very expensive. Should I lower my prices if the website automatically adds tax?

Also, still can’t fix the postage issue (see below)

    Thanks
    Corinne

Hi there, I had my first sale last week… yay! But 2 issues, firstly, the bag was £65, but the person has paid £13 tax on top of that. I’ll issue a refund to the customer for the £13, but how do I change this for future orders please? I didn’t even know this was a thing. Also I have it set to give free postage over £50, but this person has paid postage too. Could you check my settings please? I’ve just checked and it’s definitely set to be free over £50. Apart from that, I was so excited to get an order! Thanks so much Corinne

Hi Corrine, please accept our apology for the late reply.

Firstly, congratulations on making your first Shop N.O.A. sale. Second, sorry that you’ve experienced an issue with added tax.
In order to avoid V.A.T. being added to your products at checkout you will need to set the Tax status and class for each product as follows:
      ‘Tax status’ – “None”
      ‘Tax class’ “Zero rate”
As a gesture of goodwill, in this case we’re happy to reimburse the added tax paid on this product so that everyone gets what they were expecting, you will receive this payment by 26/04/24. As for the shipping issue, that sounds less straightforward and it will take us a little longer to establish exactly what is happening there so we won’t have a solution immediately. We’ll be sure to let you know as soon as we’ve worked out what’s going on.

Can you do custom orders with a delayed shipping date?

    1. Site Admin

      Hi Jo,
Really sorry but we can’t really work out exactly what you mean with this question…
Perhaps if you include any relevant shipping information in the product description then your customers can be made aware of anything unusual regarding their specific orders.

How do I find the link to my shop so I can share with people?

    1. Moor Scent and Wick

Right click on the internet address bar at the top of your screen, then click copy and paste to where you need it.

  5. Studio Morbida

    Hello,

Can I ask why my posts are being declined? As a vendor I thought I could post more than once a week?

    1. Site Admin

      Hi Studio Morbida,
You have signed up to the Business Level subscription for £10 per month. If you want your NOT ON AMAZON account to have pre-approval you need to swap to the Business + Level.

  6. Johnathan Gregory

Hello, I have also sent a message via contact us, but do not know which will be seen sooner so will repeat here:

I have been met today with:
“Your store is currently inactive. Please contact support if you feel this is a mistake.”

I backed the founding of the page for 2 years, and I can see the store front as a customer but I cannot access it as a vendor.
It is as if I have never used the page before.

Please help. I have at least 1, if not two orders in there to process as well.

    Kind regards
    John Gregory – Powys Plasma.

      Hi John,
No need to panic, this has been a sitewide glitch caused by an automatic software update.
We’re in the process of re-activating all vendor dashboard access today.

    2. Johnathan Gregory

      Thank you,

My web page has been deactivated even though I have paid up front for 12 months as a founding member. Please either reactivate the page or process a full refund for the remaining 9 months that I am unable to use. Thanks.

This was a sitewide glitch caused by an automatic software update on 30/01/2024.
This situation has been rectified and all vendor dashboards have now been restored.
Please be aware that this kind of issue affects all websites regularly and may happen again at any time so we respectfully ask that enquiries are not based in the form of accusation.

Hi. I opened my shop with a crowdfunder pledge last November and set it up successfully. Just gone to add more products and I can access my shop from “our sellers” but all the information has disappeared from my dashboard and it says my shop is not active. Even my sales history and Stripe details are gone. Can you take a look as I want to add stock. Thanks

How can I change the subscription level on my account? I have paid for the highest level which comes with pre-approval for posts on the Facebook group which is now defunct so obviously I need to change that subscription.

  11. Jason Williams

How do I set a price for my products?

    1. Site Admin

      Hi Jason,
There is a step by step guide to adding products here: https://notonamazon.org/utilities/#add-product

Hi, could someone please have a look at my account to see if there is anything wrong with my notifications. I sold something on Tuesday morning but didn’t get a notification about the sale, just noticed it by chance. I’ve checked on Stripe and the payment has gone through. I’m just concerned in case it happens again and I’m not lucky enough to notice it.

    1. Site Admin

      Hi Glasshouse Designs,
There was a glitch on that day which affected all outgoing emails.
The situation was rectified immediately and is no longer an issue.

Hi, I’ve been in contact with stripe re the payments not going through, but its a bit like trying to wade through treacle in furry boots….
The problem seems to be that cards from Internet banks like Monzo or starlingbank are not being given the “verify with your bank” page but just being told the card can’t be verified , which means no-one can buy through the website if they aren’t a major bank customer, stripe just keep telling me they need to verify with their bank but that isn’t given as an option, im not sure what to do about this but surely there must be another way for people with Internet banks to verify their card! This question isn’t being answered by stripe so I’m assuming they just don’t allow anything but Llloyds Barclays etc. I don’t know if his is something you can address with them in the future as other payment systems don’t seem to have yhis problem but thought you should be aware of it, all yhr best, Nikki.
