Our small ethical business 'The Tipsy Badger' was set up after we found out how damaging the fast fashion industry is to the planet. We wanted a way to reuse old clothes, giving them a second chance, and keeping them out of landfill. Clothes are sourced from various charity shops, second hand purchases and donations, and are then made into beautiful and quirky bags and accessories. Corinne does the designing and sewing, while Fosta paints stunning designs onto other items to breathe new life into them. Everything is made on our narrowboat in Cheshire, and the sewing machine is even powered by solar.

Description

Creepy Clown Micro Satchel 🤡

The picture is painted on by Fosta, and is heat cured so can be washed!

It’s then made into a micro satchel by Corinne using upcycled fabrics.

Each one is lined and has a zip closure.

These little satchels are just big enough for a few bits (phone keys and money!), or dog treats, holiday money, passport!

Each bag is made using your choice of denim (blue or black usually, but let us know if you would like anything else).

Measuring approximately 15cm (w) x 20cm (h) and the strap is long and adjustable with a toggle so they can be worn cross body or on one shoulder.

Most parts of the bags are upcycled, but things that have to be purchased (eg. the strap) are all natural materials.

These bags are small but strong and have been triple sewn using polyester thread that has been made from discarded plastic bottles.

The bag can be washed on a cool wash.

From ordering, the bag will be made and sent out within 3 weeks

Corinne and Fosta are both vegan, and care deeply about the planet and its inhabitants. Both had a long career in social care, before changing things up and starting the business full time in 2020. Corinne is also studying part time for a masters in Marine and Coastal Resource Management, and hopes to help reverse some of the effects that humans have caused to the oceans.
Sparrow is our little rescue jack russel. She is pretty grumpy, but is integral to the general overseeing of the work we do at The Tipsy Badger.

Shipping Policy

Delivery Charges We use Royal Mail 2nd class Recorded to deliver to the UK.  Delivery is a flat rate of £3.95, or free with a spend of over £50. Cards have a 95p delivery charge.  Delivery Items in stock will be sent within 3 days. Orders to be made will have differing timescales, please check individual descriptions. For custom orders, a time scale will be agreed on request.

Returns of standard purchases accepted within 14 days  Custom orders can not be returned, but if you are unhappy about anything, please contact us and we will do our best to help
