Thank you for visiting my NOA shop, I’m Gill and I handmake sterling silver jewellery, most of my designs are based on textured circles or other geometric shapes, some incorporate gemstones, beads or freshwater pearls. My jewellery is designed to be eye catching and individual yet quite simple and comfortable to wear for any occasion.

 

After many years of reconstructing costume jewellery for myself and friends I decided I wanted an unusual silver chain necklace. I couldn’t find anything in the shops so when I saw a local college ran silversmithing evening classes I decided to learn to make the chain. I soon moved away from the college but had become addicted to the craft so I continued to self learn and a few years later in 2021 became a full time jeweller.

 

Wave watching is my therapy and hours can be lost just watching how the water moves and trying to work out how to interpret that into a piece of jewellery. More recent designs have been inspired by bubbly, foamy waves, pebbly tide lines and the patterns left in the sand by the receding water.

Description

This gorgeous sterling silver statement necklace is made from hammered circles linked together to form a chain, some of the links have eccentric (off centre) circles soldered inside and at the back it fastens with a handmade hook.

There are four different sized circles with diameters of approximately 1cm, 1.7cm, 2.4cm and 3cm. The total length of the necklace is approximately 55cm but do get in touch if you’d like a bespoke length.

This item carries a UK hallmark and my makers mark so you can be confident it is made from sterling silver.

Shipping Policy

DELIVERY
If your item is in stock I will post it as soon as I can, normally within one to three days of ordering. If the item is a small made to order item then it will take a few more days, depending on my work load.
Items with over 7.78g of silver content will take longer as they have to be made then sent off to be hallmarked so please allow up to three weeks for them to be ready, however I often keep one or two of my most popular items in stock so if you want something in a hurry please just ask.

Your jewellery will be wrapped in tissue inside a branded box or a cotton bag. Gift wrap is also available to add to your order and I’m happy to write a gift tag for you.
All of my packaging is carefully sourced and recyclable, except for the padding inside the box. Hopefully this will change very soon.

UK delivery via Royal Mail is included in the price, if you’re outside the UK please check your countries policies on receiving jewellery before ordering and be aware that the buyer is responsible for any customs charged by the receiving country. I cannot be accountable for any custom charges.

Return Policy

RETURNS
If the item isn’t right for you please let me know with 7 days of receipt and post it back to me, in the original condition and packaging, along with your name and address so I can identify the sale, within 14 days. The customer is responsible for paying for the return postage. I will action the refund via the payment method used within 2/3 days of receiving the goods. I cannot be held responsible for returned items that go missing in the post.

GIFT PURCHASES
If the item is for a gift and the recipient wants to return it outside the 14 day period please get in touch as I will usually be happy to exchange an item.

CUSTOM ORDERS
Items that have been made especially for you, to meet your requirements are not eligible for return or refund.

CANCELLING AN ORDER
I understand that sometimes you may change your mind so I’m happy to cancel and refund an order within 24hours, as long as I haven’t been super efficient and posted it already. The refund will be made using the same as the payment method.
