Quirky textile figure created from found bits and pieces (the slide is actually a broken mudguard) that would otherwise have become part of landfill
Created from a combination of hand and machine stitch, these take hours to create and are all one-offs, no one will ever be the same as another.
These were inspired when my neighbour left some fence post wire out for the scrap man and I decided to see if I could work 3 dimensionally (they are made from wire armature)
I’ve named this one Sam and she lives her life using the philosophy ‘act your shoe size, not your age’
