Store Name and Branding

This information is required and you will be unable to add products to your shop unless this step is completed. Log In to your Dashboard and click Settings, then Store. and fill in the following fields
  1. Store Name.
  2. Store Description.
  3. Seller Info
When you’ve done that click Settings, then Branding and upload a logo. 200 x 200 px recommended size.

Personal Information

Unless you are using an official business address we recommend that you do not add an address in the page: Dashboard/ Settings/ Store. If you leave the fields on that page empty the address on your store page will be shown as your country of residence. Please view Adding a shipping address

Shipping Address

This information is required and you will be unable to add products to your shop unless this step is completed. Log In to your Dashboard and click Settings, then Shipping. Scroll down the page to: “Shipping From“
  1. Select “Other”
  2. Add your preferred shipping address.
Unless you are using an official business address and want this information to be visible to the public, we recommend that you do not add an address in the page: Dashboard/ Settings/ Store. If you leave the fields on that page empty, the address on your store page will be shown as your country of residence.

Shipping Charge.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION!
All shipping costs will round down to the nearest unit of currency. For example: If you add a shipping cost of £2.50 when adding a product the shipping cost will show as £2.00 at the checkout. Some sellers may find it necessary to adjust their prices to compensate for this system.
Unfortunately this setting is built into the software used to build this website and we have no way to change it (so far). We apologise for any inconvenience this causes you.

SUBSCRIPTIONS

You will need an active subscription in order to add products to your shop. The slideshow below is a step-by-step guide to signing up for one of our monthly subscriptions. Please be sure to use the Vendor Subscriptions terminal at checkout.

Set Tax Rate

IMPORTANT!! As notonamazon.org is a UK registered website V.A.T. is added to all sales at checkout by default. If you are not a V.A.T. registered business you will need to set the tax rate for each of your products to zero as in the screenshot below:

Store SEO.


For anyone who doesn’t know what the letters stand for, its Search Engine Optimisation.
In your Store Settings you’ll see the SEO tab.
If you fill it out with lots of relevant keywords and descriptions your Store will show up in more internet searches.
